About SSW NaUKMA
Professor Volodymyr Poltavets’ School of Social Work – is the first professional School of Social Work in Ukraine.
Since 1994, SSW has been training professional specialists who are able to work in accordance with international standards and develop professional social work.

SSW Tasks
- Participation in the development of professional and educational standards of social work
- Conducting scientific and practical research in the field of social work, implementing modern approaches to the study of social problems and professionalization of social work
- Popularization of modern approaches to the providing of social services, supporting innovative projects and implementing European standards of social work
- Expert support for the activities of ministries, other institutions and organizations on topical issues of social work and social policy.

What the School Offers:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s programs; advanced training programs for practitioners, researchers, supervisors
- scientific works based on the results of research by professors and students of the Social Work School
